10 days and counting

I've got ten days until the work begins. Wow. It feels like I just barely opened my call. I've got a lot to do in the next ten days and it's hard to figure out where to begin. Tucson here I come!

I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I believe it is the one and only true church on the earth today. This church is what makes me happy. My Heavenly Father has blessed me more than I can express. He sent to me to an amazing family and has given me incredible friends along the way. My Heavenly Father is my best friend. I know that he will help me through anything if I listen to the still small voice.
I'm grateful for the Book of Mormon. Reading it's words has given me comfort and allowed me to understand why this gospel is so important. I'm grateful for the priesthood. I can't count the number of times I have needed a priesthood blessing this past school year. What an amazing blessing it has been to have friends and family members that hold the priesthood always at my side.
Going on a mission is probably one of the most nerve racking things I've ever done. I am terrified to leave behind my home and family. I am beyond nervous about not being able to handle the stress and strain that comes with being a missionary. Then I remember the power that I will be cloaked with when I will be set apart. Heavenly Father isn't leaving me to fend for myself. I am just a tool in his hand for the next 18 months. It's that simple. I am ready for Tucson! I can't imagine a place a would rather be for the next 18 months.
